Patrick Allcock - Where I Used To Be
The New Album by Patrick Allcock
For Toronto singer-songwriter Patrick Allcock, the musical journey began at the age of 8 on the drums. Next came guitar. Soon followed by the keyboards. By the early 80s, the next natural step was writing and recording. Over the next 40 years, he has played in a variety of original bands that include Victory Hits, Ministers of Responsibility, and Horse Opera. Along the way, he’s performed for Gordon Lightfoot, played at Massey Hall opening for Rodriguez and shared the stage with the likes of Kevin Fox, Tim Bovaconti, Kim Stockwood, Ron Sexsmith, Glenn Tilbrook, and Burton Cummings.
As well as his own recording projects, Patrick has contributed several original songs for a Prefab Sprout tribute release (Sproutless), and a compilation for Point North records. In 2010, he penned an original score for the award-winning short documentary, Featherland.
Currently, Patrick can be seen and heard on Toronto stages with the Tim Bovaconti Band and is also planning a special showcase performance of songs from his most recent release, Where I Used To Be.
